New Minimum Wage Rate from 1 March 2021

The National Minimum Wage Rate will increase from R 20.76 to R 21.69 per hour.[ Domestic wokers to R 19.09] The monthly equivalent for salaried staff will therefore be R 3,759.60 if working an 8 hour day/ 5 day week. Employers please adjust your Employment Tax Incentive Claim criteria calculations and revise pay rates where applicable, from 1 March.
