BEWARE of Cloud payroll services that are not local

Just because the website ends with .co.za does not mean the company is registered in South Africa. If you have a dispute, or need to take legal action, will you have to do that in the USA?

If you are considering cloud payroll, please look for local suppliers that:

• Is a registered company in South Africa,
• has a proven track record,
• is a member of the South African ITA(Information Technology Association) or SAPA (South African Payroll Association).
• Is not listed on an overseas stock exchange

Then read the privacy document and the terms and conditions document to see what data is stored and who gets to use it. 

Please be very careful and do not be fooled by international web based platforms.
